ORIGINAL: Apollo11 Yesterday it was sunny with +10 degrees Centigrade - today i snowing with 0 degrees Centigrade - on Wednesday it will be +15 degrees centigrade... Sounds lovely. How is Sweden weather wise this season? Huge difference if you are in the south or in the north. I am in the Stockholm region where it has been overcast for a couple of months and a few degrees above zero. Then a couple of weeks ago the winter began. With a few degrees below zero and some snow. And now it is -10 Celsius. And some rare moments of sun. Edit: and quite cold nights. RGR! BTW, I must tell you that my wife loves Swedish crime series - latest that we watch is "The Sandhamn murders"... Do you go there yourself sometimes? How is the weather there in the summer? Enough warm to swim? No, I never been to Sandhamn. Although I've been to the Stockholm's outer archipelago a few times. But then it has been further north. Sndhamn haven't really had any appeal to me. It has a reputation as a expensive party place during the summer. Although I suspect that if I had a boat vacation in the archipelago a stop there would be included. If it is warm enough to swim probably depends on ones swimming water temperature preference. I suspect that there are few days in the summer that the water temperature exceeds 15 degrees Celsius around Sandham. Although the temperature to be somewhat warmer in some bays were the water doesn't circulate as much. Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if the water temperature there is a lot colder than 15 degrees for much of the summer. RGR - thanks for info! Leo "Apollo11"
