I thought this was fixed but maybe not or I am doing something wrong. I have a ship with a RIM-161E to shoot down
a Russian satellite but it is giving me a DLZ error when it is auto detectable.

Last I saw was that on the release of 1.02 the ASAT weapon DLZ was till having issues. Haven't seen an update on that issue since.

Hi, we recently made some improvement in ASAT weapon. Using the scenario you provided I was able to achieve a successful DLZ check.
The fix will be in the next update release
