Question: Do the quality of life (QOL) sub-scores or sub-levels (i.e., health, security, education, entertainment) individually affect other elements in the game besides the civilization score? I recognize that the effects of the rolled-up civilization score ripples through things like the happiness of the population and their efficiency, unrest, etc... But, I'm thinking more along the line of a direct effect of the QOL sub-scores. For example, an intuitive case might be that a zone's education level, high or low, could influence a nation's research effectiveness, better or worse. Does any one know if there are secondary affects like that going on in the game? -Mark R.
