Hey Lobster. What ever happened to that 2.5km mega scenario you were working on back in the day?

Still plugging away. The units are almost done. The Soviet side has almost hit the 10k formation mark. Since I hurt my back slipping on ice a few years ago I can't sit at the desktop computer for very long. Some days not at all. I wish I had a Tony Stark/Jarvis set up.

Sorry it was late. I meant 1k formation limit for the Soviets. It's only Barbarossa. To do the whole war this way might require almost 10k formations. And the map would be way bigger than 700x700.

Simply playing through the scenario would be a life's work. As it is the typical 10km/hex east front scenarios take maybe 8 hours to play through some turns, the complexity here must be at least 4x if not a lot more so if you played every waking hour just the first turn would take about a week. If it's six hour turns it'll take about six months to play through a week of the campaign.
