I am playing a game where the German invasion of Norway failed and now Norway is a firmly established UK ally. However,
there is no way for Britain to send production/oil to support Norway nor for the UK to receive resources (Iron ore) from Norway. Perhaps the Arctic lend lease sea lane can be linked to the Nordic Iron ore sea lane so that they can exchange resources.

What a great opportunity to create the North Sea convoy lane:

A sea lane to send oil or resources I get. That would be nice.

With regard to the Iron ore, that shipped from Sweden and is part of a German Swedish agreement. Navik is required when the Swedish port freezes, so UK wouldn't be entitled to the Iron ore.

I am referring not to the Swedish iron ore but rather the Norwegian Iron ore north of Oslo. Also, there are rare metals in southwest Norway.

Oh I see. I thought resources were only transferred during conquests or agreements. Your saying that since the Axis failed in the attempt, the Allies are entitled to Norway resources. Still don't see that. I would think that Norway would keep it's resources for it's own uses as part of a country brought into the war.
A convoy lane would be required for sure if UK conquered Norway to transfer those resources and get the 1% multiplier bonus or if UK wants to transfer resources and/or oil to Norway.

Right, not the resource multiplier but the 5 points of Iron Ore. Whatever the Germans would receive by controlling Norway should likewise apply to the UK as well if they control Norway.

I see your point. I just tested it out now. Germany receives 2 iron ore for being ALLIED with Germany. I would agree with you knowing that now. Learn something new everyday with this game.

I'd like to see a convoy lane there so UK can support Norway, similar to Germany supporting it's minor allies.

I think the OP is also saying he can't send production points from UK to Norway. I believe I also have the same problem with UK not being able to send production to Greece. That might be because I lost London though, oops.

Extending the Artic Convoy route would do the trick. You would recieve 2 iron ore as Allied and you will be able to ship resources to Norway.

It was really never noticed before since it was very uncommon for Norway to survive beyond the initial German invasion, because the Oslo garrison was too weak. Now it is possible for Norway to survive beyond the invasion turn allowing the British to intervene and support them.

I believe a full army is required now to take Oslo in one turn with air support. So first good weather turn in or after Jan 40 if the Axis build landing ships on turn 1.
