SPEAR 3 AGMs are supposed to be an intelligent, precision weapon IRL, however in-sim if there is any object between the point at which the weapon goes active and the planned target, the weapon will go for that object instead - sometimes making extreme course changes to do so. This weapon IRL is apparently very intelligent and has multiple sources of guidance including gps/ins, datalink, passive IR and active radar.

Is this WAD? I would have expected it at least to be able to discriminate between vehicles and buildings.

See attached save for demonstration, play from Argentina or UK-FR sides. SPEARs are targeting the row of buildings behind the SAMs and ASM launchers.

Man-in-the-loop operation would appear to be well within scope also, but is not the reason I am here.

Thanks,
P
