If Norway becomes a UK ally there is no way at present for the Norwegian fleet to be supplied with oil. This is because there is no sea lane to activate to send oil from the UK to Norway. Unlike the Dutch or French fleets which once those countries surrender their fleets can be supplied with oil in UK ports. The best that an allied Norwegian fleet can hope for is to sit out the war in a UK port with no ability to move.

Doesn't it just become a UK unit like the Dutch navy? If it doesn't, it should

I noticed that Romanian and Canadian naval units (even if they have the color of Germany and UK respectively; I assume to make it easy for task force management) still use their own PP for repair/upgrade. So maybe that they also use their own oil? But I did not checked for that.

In this particular case Norway has not surrendered so the Norwegian fleet does not become a UK unit and remains an active Norwegian unit.

Apparently there once was such a convoy lane. In one of my current games my opponent started it under the previous version 1.081 while I was using the current version. I noticed just the other day that a leg from the Arctic Lend Lease Lane was there connecting to the Nordic Iron Ore land. Much like the one you have proposed. For some reason it was removed. I will try to post a screen capture when my turn comes up again.

In general, all countries should have a convoy lane assigned/attached to it so that resources can be transferred if/when required. As you mentioned in another post, this is becoming more apparent since the Oslo unit was increased in size to prevent an early invasion of Norway. Interesting to note, the patrol group takes on the appearance of a UK unit but any use of it results in Norway providing the 2 oil.

The same holds true for the Netherlands, Greece. Their naval unit will use it's oil until they falls. Looks like the intent was that those countries would be eventually conquered and the unit would then become the property of the country in question.
