The 5 Italian escorts don't seem to have any use now that there's no resource in Sardinia. Also the convoys icon is now highlighted every turn because these can't be assigned and that's really annoying. What should be done about this?

Did you assign the 2 German escorts in the Baltic? Convoy icon is not highlighted like this.

If I recall correctly, I believe escorts are still used for supply convoys in an abstract manner if they existe and can influence supply interdiction done by submarines.
