ORIGINAL: Ambassador Good morning everyone ! quote:
ORIGINAL: Orm Good morning, Gentlemen. And Ladies. Rangers, Barbarians, Marines, Firemen, Vikings, Zorch, RangerJoe, Plumbers, Pirates, Night watchers, Sailors, Gardeners, Factory workers, Mailmen, Cats, and Dogs. So, I get that Firemen, RJ, Plumbers, Sailors, Gardeners, Factory workers and Mailmen are not Gentlemen ? Nope. That would be wrong. One can, of course, be more than one thing. For example, ever heard of an "officer and a gentleman". And RangerJoe, as another example, is a Gentleman, and he claims to be a barbarian. One could even suspect he is a ranger as well. I suggest that you never let one thing define who you are. Even if you are the bestest judge in the French speaking world. Good answer, good Sir. Which reminds me of the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robots of TV Tropes... Actually, I am a Ranger. I always was and I always will be. An "Officer and a Gentleman" is someone, other than the movie, was created by an act of Congress for the US Military. Now, they are no longer Gentlemen which, to me anyway, is a bad thing. The notion of a female being a gentleman is not that far off if you were to use the term men to include all members of the Homo Sapien species. As in the quote "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind. Especially since so many women were involved in the project, especially but not limited to the women from Playtex who usually sewed things like brassierres.
