Hi can I ask how is attrition calculated? or more precisely all things being equal is it the same for Russians and Germans? because if Attrition is applied the same for the Russian as for the German then this is wrong. If you read a book like Numbers, Predictions and War by Colonel T.N. DUPUY you will see that in any type of battle between Germans and Russians the Russians ALWAYS took way more casualties. So Russian attrition compared to German attrition should be something like 5:1 ie 5 times as much.

This Rule is actually doing the Russians fighting for him. Attrition doesn't hurt the Russian one bit because he has low value units and plenty more to come. But it is really hard on the German because his quality units are being eaten up by this rule NO MATTER HOW HE PLAYS.

Having it set as 1:1 instead of something more realistic like 1:5 is unfair on the German player.

Your throwing out Dupoys QJM model and showing you don’t know how it works, pretty funny actually.

You complained on the Steam forum that this one was toxic. Please stop contributing to your own complaint on this thread and quite a few others.

Thank you.

Sorry to have to correct you, but my reference was to how the mods act here, pointing out facts is not toxic behaviour.

its perfectly legitimate to disagree with someone. As ever its a matter of how, I've gone over a number of your recent interactions with Chuckforth and your responses are needlessly rude and insulting to him

In your opinion, it is however Red Lancer opinion in a Pm in respect of the same poster, Re Logiistic Expertise, thanking me for my posts content, and taking the time to post, with its accurate reasoned detail, rather than those wishing away the realty of the logistic bungee.
I have other pms on the same topic from forum users expressing the same.

Please re-read the forum rules: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/register.asp

..having done so think very carefully as to your future conduct on this forum as you are continually crossing the line in a number of areas and your comment about me above has certainly gone too far.

As you well know the PM you mention was with regard to War in the East and the discussions on this thread:How to fix the game

For the record I've attached a screenshot of that message to show that it was sent way back in 2019 and not recently. You have chosen to imply I support your attitude today. I do not. You have made a clear distortion of the truth.

I do not doubt for a second that you have an encyclopaedic grasp of the Eastern Front and logistics. Such knowledge gives you no right to be rude and abusive to anyone. It also does not mean you have some superior knowledge of the game's design given you have yet to demonstrate personally actually playing it.

It is a real pity that you have taken my and loki100's attempts to explain why your assertions are not necessarily correct as we prepared for release as a personal attack and when we have acted in our duties as Moderators taken umbrage.
