Status: offline 		As mentioned in a different posting I live in lovely Fuchu Tokyo.

Right near Fuchu train station is a very large Shinto Shrine, Ookunitama Jinja 大國魂神社

And in the grounds of the shrine is a centograph in honor of the light cruiser IJN Tama. 多摩 (軽巡洋艦)

It was sunk off of Leyte.. Information is here

There is also a monument with the names of all the sailors who perished
