OK, I just bought WITP - ADMIRALS EDITION an hour ago. Very grateful for the Easter discount.

I am checking out the YouTube tutorials (and probably will be for some time) but this is my first question: Is there any way to minimize the game screen?

You can run it in windows mode. I suggest that you check the tech thread for assistance on setting up the game.
