Hi All.

I am looking for some help with this training scenario on Electronic Warfare. I'm sure its just a newbie mistake, but I just can't figure it out.

In the state of this scenario, I should be able to fly the F-16l armed with the HARM and use that to kills the SAMS and then the other 2 F16-l with the SPICE 2000 to kill the Presidential Palace.

I have tried a number of different tactics, and combined so many things but I simply cant even hit the SAMs. I even edited the scenario to see if the SAMs are being jammed and they are. I did manage to get the presidential palace killed once, but it was kind of a lucky shot.

Don't know what else to try. Can someone check this scenario and let me know what I could do to get this right? What am I missing?
I've read the instructions so many times.. I must be overlooking something.

Thank you very much!

Hi WMundstock

The key to jamming is to have your jammers in line with your attack.
This way they will best mask the strikers.

In the save I have the Prowler flying in front of the attack, with two pairs of F-35´s just to the sides.
The F-35 carry a powerful jammer as well, so i added them just to be sure, even though I could hit the targets without them.

I have already dropped the bombs. Four at the target and two each at the SAM´s, to ensure destruction.
When you time the arrival of all weapons at the same time, called Time-on-Target or ToT, you can overwhelm the defenses.

When you start the save, you can see the bombs closing to the target and I have just ordered the HARM´s to launch.
Since they are much faster than the bombs, I launch them when the bombs are close to the target.

I don´t achieve complete simultaneous ToT, but close enough to destroy all targets without problem.

Hope this helped.

Søren

Edit.
I almost forgot. Don´t get your jammers too close to the enemy.
At some point the enemy radars will burn through the jamming, and your precious jammers will be easy targets.
