This is my first scenario for CMO. Dear friends, I am very happy to bring this to your attention. I anticipate the content in this short presentation. SAVING HYPPOCRATE (version 2021-24) Time: 01 March 2019 - Central Mediterranean Sea Player: ITALY A.I.: LIBYA L.N.A. - LIBYA G.N.A. - EGYPT The civil war in Libya is having a resurgence. The warlike L.N.A. militias of gen. Haftar launched a further attack on Tripolitania, defended by the G.N.A. which, at the moment, has a neutral posture towards Italy, but on the same side against L.N.A. The contingent of Italian paratroopers defending a military hospital (Operation Hyppocrates), near Misrata, received by L.N.A. an ultimatum to clear the camp. Italy certainly does not want to be implicated in a large-scale conflict, which would probably also involve a rather reluctant Egypt, the strong ally of the L.N.A., but it must absolutely rescue its personnel with a rapid evacuation and for this it has set up a special aero-naval task force. There are only five hours left until the ultimatum expires, the outbreak of hostilities seems inevitable ... You have an indisputable technical superiority, but the resources deployed are limited and precious, and decisive are the tactical choices. The player starts with some pre-set missions (which however can be modified at any time by the player itself) and a doctrine initially set to a manual control of the rules of engagement (generally weapons HOLD), which ensures greater involvement and the best challenge (and a more careful handling of weapons), even if, in some more excited moments due to the concomitance of different situations, it is not easy to manage ... Operations planning, air battles, fleet defense, ASW actions, air refuelling, ground attacks, land combats and cargo operations await you ... And ... always keep an eye on scoring, because every loss is paid for at a high price! If all goes well, at the end of 13 hours, with a good score, the troopers will have been re-embarked and the fleet will be able to reverse course heading home ... Have you fun !
