Hello all.
Is it possible to add a non-historical corps to the main campaign?
I would like to create the "1st SS okkultistisch Corps" as part of my idea for a Hellboy spinoff mod (Personal use) with new victory locations at religious sites. Basically, they are hunting for hidden religious artifacts and relics.
If it is possible I would appreciate any info on how this corps should be structured

Many thanks, Trey.
I'm so glad it can be done :)
I have only just started to learn the editor and still struggling to get my head around it :)
Could you possibly point me at some editor tutorial vids and guides for noobies?

Here's how I do it:

I found it easiest to take existing formations - that are similar to the ones i want to create anew - and copy them.

The way you could do this is

1) click on a unit on the map in the editor
2) open unit-detail-window by right-clicking on the unit-counter on the right side of the screen
3) click on the name of the unit

This should bring you to the unit-tab of the editor, the formation you've clicked on should be selected the "Unit-Composition" should be on the left two-thirds of the screen. Here you see what ground elements are part of it and other info, like which TOE the unit is using, what it's current supply-levels are, its leader, it's next HQ, etc...

On the rightmost third (Unit-List) should be a list all Formations. Again, the one you've clicked on should be selected.

directly above the Unit-List are Functions, for example "INSERT", "COPY" (which you should be using shortly), "DELETE", etc.

First thing I do is make space, clicking on "INSERT" a couple of times. This will insert an empty slot in the Unit-List.

To keep track of what units you've added I would leave some space to the default-units.

You might have to again select the unit you want to copy.

A "C" should appear next to the selected unit.

Now click on one of the empty spaces you've made with the "INSERT" function.

Now click the Function "PASTE".

et vorlá! You've copied the unit.

you can - and should - now give the new unit a unique name.

If it is a HQ-Unit you should give it a different leader (the leader was also copied!)

Note that SUs were not copied, if you want the new unit to have SUs you'll have to copy those as well and assign these SUs as HQ the unit you've created.

Many many thanks, sir.
I very much appreciate the kind offer.
1. First I need to create a new custom SS commander (this will be my RP character).
2. Next I need to create the "1st SS Panzer okkultistisch group" which will consist of:
x4 SS Panzer Div.
x4 SS Panzer Grenadier Div.
x3 Fallschirmjäger Div.
This force should be equipped with the newest and best vehicles and equipment.
3. Assign appropriate ground and air support units.
4. Set this group to the highest priority for casualty, equipment replacement, and the newest upgrades as they become available.
5 Add this force to the main campaign and place them at the desired starting position on the map
6 The force needs to be quite independent allowing them to move from one front to the next. This will allow them to be present when capturing victory locations (so they can capture religious items and artifacts).
7 How to create new victory locations with an associated event popup on capture. These will be deep in enemy territory to make them a real challenge.
If you are able to create these tutorial videos they would really help newcomers to learn how to use the editor :)
I am sure they will be very much appreciated by all :)

I did try this but got a bit confused, plus, unfortunately, I could not find any SS units that would be suitable to be copied.
I am still trying but it will take some time to get my head around the editor

It looks like I was beat to it! (I'm moving right now and don't have access to my computers)

Feel free to still have a go, kahta.

The more mods we have the better and besides, my version is very much a bodge, and something I did partly as an exercise to better familiarise myself with the editor.
