Leningrad cut off. It isn't pretty but it should suffice until the infantry gets here.

South

Lots and lots and lots of Soviets in the South. Pretty strong units too. Been moving single Armor and single Mech division with 3 German Infantry division to open the dual railroad for next turn. They routed out but was able to move a couple into position for a defense. But a ton of units to the North.

Turn 4

Final Thoughts

1st phase finished earlier than I had ever hoped with the cut off of Leningrad. Infantry should be on that line on turn 5 to free up the PZ's and Moto for phase 2. I am in phase 2 now and have started making adjustments to some units. You will see phase 2 develop over the coming turns and hope that a few things come to pass in turn 5.

The south will open up soon enough. Magic Eight ball says, "highly likely"

Any final analysis for the game? What made it possible to cut Leningrad on T4? I think diverting 3PzG north shouldn't be enough to guarantee that.

Quick answer. Then in the morning will write up a broader synopsis.

4th, 3rd, 2nd PZ overwhelmed all going for Leningrad, plus accompany infantry Corps. Also 2 dual track & 1 single track going for Leningrad. Along with sea supply. I would say next to impossible to defend even against a best Soviet player. I am sure I am not wrong on this.

I even stated the obvious with the Helen Keller reference. And stating it! I do believe people have me either blocked on my posts or dont read at all ;-). I even let my opponents use my information from these post to do their turns since I post my information in real time. But yeah, all of center went for Leningrad. Supply was more than enough.

Update

I received an email this morning that the game will go on. I stand corrected on the game being over and Gunnulf will be continuing. Once I receive the turn I will update accordingly.

I did this against M60 many years ago. Full disclosure M60 won the GC in 1945 by capturing my entire SS Panzer Armee and sending them to Siberia

You did what? Sending everything to Leningrad from North and Center?

Ya, M60 is a great player!

Turn 5 Beginning of Turn

North

Leningrad stays cut off. Color shown is fuel levels for my units. The units that cut off Leningrad are low on fuel but to be expected with all the horrid terrain. I will try and take these off the line and closer to the nearest Depot, Pskov area. I plan on bringing up the Infantry as quickly as I can to do this.
