As announced in a recent Tea Time on our Twitch channel, shipments of War in the East 2 manuals proceed in date order.
We're trying to dispatch as many as we can with limited warehouse staff. If you have pre-ordered your book, it will be shipped before the end of April.
Any order that arrived between release and today will be shipped in May, depending on availability. The final batch of manuals will arrive by sea in the warehouse around mid-May and will begin shipping on May 24th.
As soon as each order is shipped,the customer will receive an email notifying them of the shipment.

My book was shipped on 4-27 and it's 5-13 and still not arrived. I'm in the states. Nevada. Before the Slitherine merge, Matrix had a warehouse in Oregon and my physical orders took a few days. Why does everything come from Europe now?!
Just one thing I don't like about the merge.

Warehouse is in UK 🇬🇧 cause of Slitherine but ya states wouldve been nice. Mine only took like 2 weeks so hopefully yours is close but I know there were 2 shipping options.

I ordered it using the slower one 10 days ago, but have not received any update that is has shipped. How did you change the shipping service?
I ordered the same slower shipping and ordered mine on April 7 still haven't heard anything yet so you might have a little wait. (How did you change the shipping service?) I am curious as to how this is done as well.

I bought the digital with physical upgrade on the 17th April iirc, will my manual be shipped this month (May) or are the manuals produced based on sales as they come in and so it will be later for me?

The second batch of manuals has arrived in our UK warehouse, but has just started shipping. It will likely take a couple of weeks to ship out all the remaining orders.
Today is May 26th! The charge of CAD $66.34 was charged to my credit card the day I ordered it. So you have had my money for a month but I still have no hardcover Manual!!!

I'm sorry that some of you have had to wait, and it sounds like the backlog should be cleared up in the coming weeks. Matrix is doing the best they can. Given worldwide shipping delays these days it's not surprising that the part of the manual order that was shipped by sea took longer than expected. They've also said given Covid protocols they can only have so many people in the office shipping manuals at one time. Matrix went above and beyond with their support of the production of this huge manual and I think you will be very happy with it once you get it. We appreciate your patience.

I ordered a fence panel on May 1st and was told it was expected to be in by 12/25/2021! He said there were just not enough workers in manufacturing. However, the part arrived on May 18th so that was a blessing and much sooner than expected.

Well, unfortunately we couldn't ship them out before we received the second shipment, which arrived a bit later than expected.
As far as damage, hopefully the new packaging will avoid that case, but if your manual is significantly damaged during shipment you can contact us at support@matrixgames.com for a replacement.

Hi everyone, I have another update for you all. At the current pace, we expect ALL remaining pending physical orders for WITE2 to be shipped out to customers by next Wednesday (June 2nd) at the latest!
Got my confirmation this afternoon, is it wrong for a grown man of 54 years to be more than a little excited about this?
F*ck it, can't wait to get my hands on the manual, my summers reading is sorted, along with Jonathon Sumption's 4 volume (soon to be 5 if he gets his finger out) history of the 100 years war.
Just out of interest. How long would you anticipate shipping taking to New York City if I selected the cheaper option? The reason I ask is I am moving on June 13 and so was wondering if it would make sense to contact matrix to change my shipping address to the new address or to keep it as is?

It came into the US through NYC, so I imagine if you are in that area the total time will be even shorter. If it ships next week, or the first day or two of the following week, you could easily see if before the 13th.

I am gusssing If I dont get the Manual I can ask Paypal for a full refund. I can not play these games without a printed manual. I thought this was a serious company, obviously I was wrong.

Dalogan, as stated above, it sounds like the remaining orders for manuals will be shipped this week so I would sit tight for another week. I have not received a shipping confirmation for my manual either so I can certainly understand your frustration but at this point I would wait one more week before doing anything drastic.

If your manual hasn't shipped out, it sounds like it will by June 2nd. I've read that some people didn't get emails that their manual had shipped but got the manual. It's possible the email went in a spam folder. I hope you'll get the manual soon, but given shipping times, I suppose it could be up to a few weeks more. You can open a support ticket and ask if your order has shipped yet, or if not, it is still on track to be shipped no later than June 2. My guess is that the manual is already on the way to you based on your order date and Erik's latest post, but there's always a chance that something has gone wrong somewhere. I am confident Matrix will ultimately get it to you. Sorry for the delays. Based on the June 2 catch up ship date for all existing orders, I assume that means everyone should get their manual sometime in June. It also sounds like Matrix will then be caught up and new orders should go out fairly quickly. We appreciate the early purchasers hanging in there while the manual shipping delays got worked out. I know Matrix will be very happy when they've caught up and can fulfill orders quickly, which is what they aim to do.
