The game sometimes freezes during the AI phase
and I need to restart from last save...

It happens during the sub-phase : "form Front Line" ... [running]

Same here. Game freezes when it tries to upload my turn in a MP game.

It would really help if you could attach a save that we could use to see this happen, although it sounds like loading in the save makes the problem go away, right?. Also, especially with the first version of the game there were circumstances where the AI could get into a loop that could last a long time (10-30 minutes). I think we got rid of the worst of these, but there may be some other situations where that happens. So you can let it run for awhile in the background and see if it finally finishes. Is this happening using the 1.01.11 version?

When this happens, please open your task manager (ctrl-alt-del will let you choose it), then right click on the game in the list and select 'create dump file'. It will tell you where the file is stored. The issue then is even if you zip up the file, it's usually about 100 MB. If you have a way to get us that file, it could be helpful in figuring out what's going on.

This sounds like a different problem. I assume this can happen if the network is down or your internet is down. Does this always happen, or is it intermittent?
