Ok, I see now that the Sidi Barrani supply depot only gets supply level 9 when the port Marsa Matruh is captured, so I suppose all is good. I was thinking that maybe the port of Bardi would do it, but it doesn't and I'm not sure why but it probably is WAD

Ok, I need to ask again, why doesn't the port of Bardia allow supplies to be brought up to the Sid Barrani supply depot in the NA scenario? I'm in a PBEM game (as the Axis) against an opponent who has Marsa Matruh heavily defended, and it just going to be impossible to capture it (I tried but to no avail) to get enough to supplies to even hope to move on to El Alamein. I'm going to have to pull back and sit at Sid Barrani while the UK gets stronger...

Is this WAD?

Sorry Alvaro, but could you offer an explanation to why the Sidi Barrani supply depot in the NA scenario, does not get supply level 9 for the Axis forces, until Marsa Martuh is captured?

My sense is that this is likely WAD to provide some gameplay balance to make it hard for the Axis to win too early, as it was historically, and to try and model/mimic the back and forth seesaw battle that happened. From what I have found in playing the scenario, I think the way the scenario works up until Sidi Barrani, favors the Axis forces such that it is relatively easy and almost always guarantied that Tobruk will be taken in 1941, followed by Bardia and Sidi Barrani, if the AK speeds its way across the open dessert and cuts off a good part of the UK forces falling back along the coast road.
