Good morning everyone....GP

Good morning. I hope that you are feeling and breathing better.

Thanks, I'm feeling better today than I have in weeks....GP

That is good.

In 2014, according to a CT scan, my lower two thirds of my left lung was just as dense as my liver. You do not want to get like that.

Yeah, you have to take care of yourself....GP

At the same time, I had a systemic infection of Candida Albans I do believe, a blood clot in my upper right thigh but my right calf was too swollen to check, an infection on the top of my right foot that when they removed the dead tissue the whole was 5.5 cm by 4.5 cm down to the muscles and ligaments of my foot. That foot infection did not go into my bones. My blood pressure was 62 over 58. I was a little dehydrated . . .

When they finally took a tissue sample from my right lung and cultured it, I was told that black mold was growing. I had been given medicine but was not getting better and the medical staff could not figure out why until they took the tissue sample with the resulting culture. I even went into an isolation room because TB was suspected. I do have a small amount of lung scarring.

I lost 50 pounds of weight in 5 weeks and I was water bloated. More than once, I tapped my kidneys and over 1 litre came out. The measuring device that hold that much in the toilet bowl runneth over. I was told that the normal output for an adult was around 200 ml. Yes, I did feel it drain from my kidneys! I was drinking up to 3 litres of water a day, 5 or 6 small cartons of milk, plus receiving 7 to 9 IVs a day with different medicines. Each IV was a half litre or 1 litre of fluids.

Covid-19 does not scare me but I am careful.

Wow dude 😳....GP

That is one of the reasons why I sometimes reply to the question of how I am doing "I am alive." Not being sarcastic either.

Take it one day at a time, it is rough when two or more days hit you all at once.

I was also homeless at the time that I got a little ill.

My wife and I were nearly evicted a bunch of years ago. That was scary. I assume that you have a place to hang your hat now?....GP

I thought someone had mentioned Lorena Bobbit, but maybe I was more delusional than usual or posted on the wrong thread.

That Lorena, I agree, should be banned from mention. TKWWWSNBN - the knife wielding woman who shall not be named!

Well, I mentioned her to a pretty Venezuelan and she said that they were celebrating the event down there - the women anyways.

I had good news and bad news from her. She liked the candies that I brought her from a specialty candy store that makes the candy there.
So did her husband.

I think that I will go to that candy store today . . .

Scored a ticket to see my second favorite band of all time, Genesis, in November. Yeah, they are old, but I haven't been able to see them since 1987 and I'm not going to pass up this chance. Really hoping that things will be mostly back to normal with the pandemic by then.

Genesis is good. BTW, are they going to have the drummer sing? His daughter is very easy on the eyes . . .

Phil Collins can't drum anymore so he will only be singing, but his son, Nick, will be drumming. By all counts he is very talented. No Lilly, I'm afraid.

Good morning.

I was woken up earlier by a wet nose, tapped my kidneys, stayed up for awhile, then went back to sleep.

The candy store stop was a success. It made someone's mom very happy. But the person that I was with made a mistake - she said that she did not know what a truffle was and wanted to try one. So I asked the clerk for one of each in a bag for me and two of each in a bag for her.

Could be better - the newest variant-driven wave of COVID keeps derailing all the progress we have made on opening up. Staying home except for necessities is not fun, but the game and this forum gives relief from boredom.

Good to see another returnee - where you been?

Fine, still breathing and that's enough for myself.

Glad to see you back, don't be a stranger, even if its only here to say...

Hello all.
