When I click on "forums", I get...the forums... no "how to page"?
Well, then you're experiencing something I'm not, because I'm first taken to a 'How To Use Our Forums' page. It seems there's a difference between what you're seeing and what your customers are seeing.
How is making a bookmark that gets you to where you want with one click "jumping through fiery hoops" but starting at a homepage and navigating from there EVERY time isn't?
I already addressed this issue in my previous messages. The main reason I like to always start on the front page whenever I visit a website is because that's where the news is announced, which is rather important for obvious reasons. I don't like jumping right into the middle of a website, be it the forum or some other place, because it does not give me an overview of what might be happening at other parts of the site. I would suspect that there are many other people who might feel the same way. I really shouldn't have to explain this, as it's common sense. Beyond that, I am not going to: 1) change my internet browsing habits, which have served me well for many years 2) change the way I have my bookmarks organized and 3) download extra software... ...just to be able to possibly enjoy this website. Let me put it to you another way, since your response had kind of a terse intonation: Lack of preparedness on the part of Matrix does not constitute an emergency on my part.
