I will flag now that GER on Map Saved Oil seems to be out of step with previous EOT instructions.

I am finding that the saves for this Turn have GER Saved oil at 8

They are located:
Berlin 2
Konigsberg 3
Brno 1
Bratislava 2

An Audit of previous EOT instructions reads 9 Saved on map

Should be located:
Berlin 4
Konigsberg 2
Budapest 1
Brno 2

I am sorry about this error.

I do not know why one saved German oil is missing. One possible culprit could be the Italian use of German oil. I know that has been some cause for oil loss in the past. Anyway. I feel to lazy to investigate it. Could we agree that Germany has one oil missing and that needs to be fixed someway?

I am not all that fond of editing saves unless there is no other way to continue forward.

Can this be solved without editing? If so, how? If it doesn't need to be solved right away then it could be remedied by changing the result of strategic bombing against Germany by one point in Germanys favour. The downside with that alternative is that it might take a while before the fix can be implemented. Any suggestions for how to remedy this is appreciated.

xxxx

I try to do my best with where the oil should be saved. There seems to be some sort of bug here (this might be the reason for the oil loss). It is easier for me if the oil is already saved to the correct locations before the turn ends. And even more so if it is listed where oil should be saved in the preliminary step.

Anyway. I hope that this is no issue in continuing onwards.

We agree that it is best to avoid editing the file unless absolutely necessary. That is a strong dislike of mine.

This is not something that needs to be resolved immediately, just flagging it so we are all aware, I could have picked it up earlier. Your solution sounds fine with me if you want to go forward with that.

And now comes one of the things I am most annoyed with in MWIF. The first weather roll for Jul/Aug when you have a positive die roll modifier from May/Jun. That modifier means fine weather if it is May/Jun, but if the modifier remains into Jul/Aug then it means a risk for bad weather. After seeing a game with no fine weather impulse in the temperate zone in an entire Jul/Aug turn....

Grump.

Edit: It was the first Jul/Aug turn in a '41 Barbarossa.

Weather rolls have to be nothing but 10s with +2 modifiers

Yes. But it isn't that un likely as it sounds. The premise for it is that the turn begins with a modified 12. Then it is 10% chance that it is the same weather again. And in the game I remember the Allies all passed on their 2nd impulse, and ended the turn. Germany had two bad weather impulses. And then I felt like it was game over. The bad weather is one thing. The truly horrible thing is that the turn marker advances twice as fast.

Anyway. It didn't happen now. And I hope I never see it again. Regardless on what side I am on. I don't mind seeing bad weather. But a modified 12 in Jul/Aug is something I truly dislike.

Sounds like my expected result when I am playing the Axis in 1940-41 or the Allies in 1944.
