Sry fellows for asking the same damn question again, but I am kinda puzzled by this whole thing.

So I used a carrier to ship some land based planes from San Diego to PH, now the carrier is back in SD and I want to get my planes back on - no can do.
Tried a lot of different things, somehow I cant move them damn things onto the CV?

Kindly asking your support again

Air squadrons are not LOADED onto CVs.

Air Squadrons Transfer to a CV the same way they Transfer to another base.

To the air squadron the CV is just another Base.

Select Transfer.

Select Transfer to a Ship.

A list of possible ships to transfer to will be provided to you.

Select the ship you want.

It couldn't be easier.

Furthermore, why are you putting your CVs at risk just to get planes to Pearl in a non-disabled state?

xAKs can deliver those planes in a disabled state without risking your CVs by putting them at sea without operating squadrons aboard.

If you really need the planes to arrive in an abled state, that is what AKVs are for. Did you comb through your xAKs to find the ones that can convert to AKVs?

Thats what I thought, but the "pick destination for *air unit*" window is empty in San Diego, although my CV is in the port.
Same for the option with CV in TF, docked to port.

Screenshots of the squadron interface when attempting to Transfer and a screenshot of the CVs will ne needed to get to the bottom of your problem.

This is the interface I get when attempting to transfer a carrier capable Marine fighter squadron to one of my CVs.

As can be seen two of the CVs are 24 hexes away from the port, but are still listed as potential bases for the squadron.

Your post count may not be high enough to allow you to upload screenshots yet.

They are attached to US West something, whereas other air groups on carriers are attached to "Independant".
Could that be the issue? If so how to solve that?

Thx for you example, but as stated above, my list is empty (unlike yours).
A screenshot would only show the empty list.

That is most certainly the problem.

West Coast is a Restricted command.

Why on earth did you change them from Independent to West Coast when you unloaded then from the CVs?

Never, ever, never move a unit from an unrestricted command to a restricted command.

If this is something the game engine did on its own, that is another very good reason not to remove your carrier squadrons to use your carriers as transport ships.

You will have to change them back to an unrestricted command to be able to leave the continent with them.

Even better, you probably will not do that again.

Use those depleted West Coast Restricted squadrons for training pilots. Early in the game, you will not have enough aircraft to fill them all out.
