Hello,

a newbie here. Have solidly surrounded Moscow at the end of September and called a halt to the advance over the whole front to dig in, as reached the line I was after, but where can I see the APs I have available for creating fortified units? Also how many APs can you 'spend' without impacting other aspects of the game?

APs are shown in the upper right corner of the screen. APs are increased each turn by an amount based on the scenario. They are spent for new units (such as fortified units), depot creation, and leadership changes.

Thanks! Still learning. I have the hardcover manual, but the index is a bit 'lean', so I find it hard to find stuff sometimes.

Even if you have the hardcover manual, it can be useful to use the search function in the PDF version of the manual. If I were trying to find this, what I would do is start on the table of contents section and search for "administrative" (and otherwise "ap") then probably relevant sections of the manual will come up.
