I'm in my first game and I must admit, I love it. However, I'm in a situation where I get frequent worker strikes for over 100 turns now. And even though I raised their salary, put the zone on unincorporated, and I'm using worker happiness benefit cards, the situation results in a major rebellion every 50 turns or so. It got better now with these methods, but still feels unsatisfying. My question though is the following: With the worker strike, agitator and similar events we can select to either use our troops (autocracy) resulting in unrest, or negotiate by spending credits (democracy). If I select the democracy option, it indicates how many credits it is going to cost me. About every 3rd time I select this option, the credits that are deducted from my treasury however are around 10 times more than indicated. So for example instead of the cost of 500 credits the message is telling me, it costs me 5000 credits and I can go into debts if I don't have the money. Usually if you don't have enough money, you can't pick the democracy reply. There is no difficulty check so failing a roll can't be the reason. Without knowing if I am going to pay 10 times the amount or not, makes the decision difficult. Is this intended? Can I avoid being billed the wrong number? Is it a bug? Or am I blind?
