As you know, aircraft armed with high explosive bombs upgraded with cluster munitions are very deadly against infantry. However they target vehicles over infantry 100% of the time, making them effectively useless in a contested front. I therefore suggest that aircraft armed with these bombs be made to prefer infantry targets instead, especially artillery and AT guns, to mirror the real-life usage of aircraft. Additionally, aircraft check an armored target's higher HP value when attacking, which, combined with their exorbitant ammo cost and low firepower, makes building AT aircraft extremely cost-inefficient and therefore out of the picture. I suggest that they instead check armored targets' lower HP value instead as infantry do, to simulate them attacking the thin top armor of vehicles, and also the general vulnerability of tanks against aircraft especially without anti-air support. These changes would make air forces viable in multiplayer, as, given the ludicrous cost of AT guns (partly due to their oversized 8-subunit battalions), there isn't much of a counter against the current meta strategy of building a massive tank army aside from building your own massive tank army or getting very lucky with your RPG model's rolls and mass fielding those.
