I just encountered a somewhat game-breaking glitch with the Afrika Corps. I was playing as Axis, all three countries under 12/40, because I wasn't happy with how the AI routinely mishandles the Afrika Corps and gets it wiped out. The Afrika Corps deployed in Italy. I then turned over Germany and Italy to AI. The following turn, full duplicates of all Afrika Corps units deployed in North Africa, so now I have a set in Europe and a set in North Africa.

Hi

What's fired is an AI helper script, providing them with an Afrika Korps in North Africa.

You could always delete some or all of the units if you wish to.

Or go back to the previous turn and turn off the relevant Unit scripts via the Options screen.

There are six, and they will be near the end of the list of Unit scripts:

#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Arrives At Tripoli, Sirte, El Aghelia, Benghazi (1a)
#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Arrives At Tripoli, Sirte, El Aghelia, Benghazi (2a)
#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Arrives At Tripoli, Sirte, El Aghelia, Benghazi (3a)
#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Deploys In Europe (1b)
#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Deploys In Europe (2b)
#NAME= AXIS AI: Germany - The Afrika Korps Deploys In Europe (3b)

They are all listed together so it doesn't take as long as it might look to turn them off.

I know I could do those things, but now that I know what happens its too tempting to accept the free gift!
