so its been awhile since i have played the Japanese especially into 1943 so have a question reference japanese pilot replacements. I started with 150 being trained per month to now in 01/01/1943 to approx 450 for the navy and 650 for the army. My total training command is around 350-400 pilot trainers. So the question is, is it normal for the new pilot crop to increase threefold in 43 or is it due to the pilot cadre. I cannot find the answer in a thread or in the manual

Can you post a screenshot showing where you are getting your numbers from?

Different scenarios include different rookie pilot monthly intake over the years. Most of the stock scenarios have IJNAF rookie intake increased in 43+ compared to earlier. Also Stock 2 increases IJNAF intake in all years compared to Stock 1. Modded scenarios are all over the place

In short, yes, the number of incoming pilot recruits does change over time. Perhaps not mentioned in the manual because it's controlled by the scenario - in other words, user-editable. Here's the Scenario #1 pool in December 1941 (as seen in the Editor):

I would edit that to give the Dutch some during the game. They did train pilots in the USA.

Or give the Dutch air units that have few or no aircraft but semi-trained pilots during the game. Maybe have some of the original Dutch air units withdraw but come back later with cast off aircraft from the US and Allies.
