I'm playing against the A.I. and learning the game system. A.I. does dumb things and also impressive moves and defense. I was 65 turns in and had Orel surrounded as I was the Soviet player. I moved past Orel but had troops basically around it on most hex sides. The game flew in a Panzer division! COME ON MAN! I had to stop. The whole concept of this game and historically was units on both sides got pass up and surrounded and pockets formed. You can slowly wait for the position to starve out or get weak enough to attack it...The time frame is Feb. 1944 and Germany did not have the fuel or fighter support to fly in entire divisions of any kind. How do you fly in 30 ton tanks and supporting artillery? The game can just continue to fly in new fresh units who hit the ground completely fresh and up to 100% is not remotely realistic. The game rules need to be adjusted on next up grade..Maybe replacements can be flown in,
in very small amounts thats it...

I think we'll need far more information to explore what has happened here, but in the meantime I suggest you move this from 'opponents wanted' to the bug directory where it might be seen

As unrealistic as this is, isn't this a positive development for you? Free PZ division to eat up?

Sounds like a bug. What version were you playing? Now we had two other bugs of warping units into places they shouldn't go. One was fixed in 1.01.00 and the other was no longer showing up in 1.01.00 when it was repeating in earlier versions. So we think that other AI changes probably fixed that bug as well. If you have a save at the start of the German turn where the unit came into the hex, please attach it or email it to 2by3@2by3games.com. I'm going to move this to the tech support area as it sounds like a bug report.

Looks like we don't have mod rights to move this thread.
