Before going any further with the scenario starting with the Munich crisis, I like to enquire a little on the use of scripts. In order to make this scenario interesting, I would like to portray some of the uncertainties facing the governments of especially UK and Germany during the first years of the war. After all, Romania fought alongside Germany after initially being a close ally to France, and the Greeks found themselves on the Allied side despite their pre-war sentiments being much more towards Hitler. I'm, as said before, terrified of scripts, not so much because of the nature of them, as of knowledge of my own ability to make a total mess if I try to put them together. Therefore I need the assistance of someone who understands them. First of all, if I shall continue with this scenario, I need to know if the following script lines are possible. Can you make a line/lines that: 1. Have a script that trigger after a date or an event (surrender in my case), but with a random number of turns between trigger and execution? 2. Have a script that has a one-time percental chance of triggering and is then expired. 3. Have a script that gives a country a random number of diplomats, set within a pre-set range (as an example: Germany gets between 5 and 12 diplomats). 4. Have a script that makes a minor's status on the diplomacy table move a number of steps towards any fraction. I will definately need assistance in making such scripts, but before that–is the above settings of a script at all possible?
