Don't feel like the 'Lone Stranger'.

Sometimes I can still do it, but really slowly, and I mean sometimes.

Edit: I used to be good in octal and hex too. Now never.

Up until my accident I could do it just fine....GP

I can prove that half of one is one, half of two is two, half of three is three, half of nine is four, half of ten is five, half of eleven is six, half of twelve is seven, half of thirteen is eight.

Edit for UNP!!!!
I forgot to look at see how many were needed. My bad.

Oddly enough I took a rough roll down the stairs on Wed and got banged up pretty good. A couple of staples in the head and pretty much everything else hurts. The blood pressure is high so they have me in observation - ie prison, where they check my vitals every 4 hours, day and night. I don't fall asleep easily once woken up, so I am tired, cranky, tired of the limited menu and stressed about being jailed. No wonder my blood pressure is high. And then I have the wife and friends sniping at me about taking care of myself. More stress. Cannot wait to get out and see the dogs.

I hope that everyone is having a good start to their weekend.

Frank, may you feel better soon. Have someone bring you a beer or a couple of shots to help you relax. In reality, have them hook you up to a machine that will monitor you. Better yet, a pretty blonde . . .

Uh, tell me about it. I keep doing my best to reduce my stress, but it always seems like someone else wishes to introduce more. Wife giving me heartaches, get divorced, reduce stress. Job busting balls, retire, reduce stress. Now its my damned doctors. Wait, you want me to come into your office? Haven't any of you heard there's a pandemic going on???? I should fire all of them, move to a remote island and just say to hell with it.

Edit: Hey, that may work. Probably live to be 100.

Good morning!

Frank, you need a beer. Plus something to hold that beer for you. So don't look at the beer holder either, just fumble around looking for it . . .

So when you wife comes in "Honest honey, I was not looking at my beer holder!"

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I got cut free last night, body still hurts in places but good to sleep in my own bed. Wife thinks the fall was due to excessive drinking and has gone from being supportive to not speaking to me, sigh. The EEG was clear, so no neurological problems (she claims I had a seizure, thus the neurological tests - I think I was just grabbing for a railing and missed). EEG tests are a little freaky towards the end, lots of strobe lights that you see even though your eyes are closed - they are literally manipulating the wires in your brain. But can now go outside and take a walk, look at nature, go pick up high blood pressure meds and generally be better behaved. But I was thrilled this am when I was able to have an egg, cured ham, an english muffin and tea. Going to just take it easy the next few days. Thanks again for the concern.

I'm glad that you are home.

Yes, being dehydrated can affect your balance, so have a container of water handy and take frequent small sips.

Edit for:
Heck, have the water in a dark coloured beer bottle with a nice beverage holder! Fool everybody!
