Those of us who have been addicted to this game for over a decade now have come to love its many quirks.

Just a few of my observations for your consideration:

1. Minor Raids go in ad hoc because only Major Raids get Planned.

2. The Merging Sub Units Phase must be the most important phase in the game because its the ONLY phase that is ever Completed.

3. Air Strikes don't go in at Night, Night Strikes go in by Air.

A quick question for the observant ones......Are Ships Crews ripping out the governors on the engines during the Phase where Ships Crews Damage Performance Control?

I'm sure many of you can contribute many more interesting "observations".

Regardless of damage control, what I think I have observed is that ships that have gone full speed to their maximum number of hexes can still react several times and add more hexes of movement. That seems to be removing engine governors and blocking steam pressure release valves!

You missed the nuance of my statement.

The correct Phase name is Ships Crews Perform Damage Control.

My deep fried brain plays constant word games, rearranging word or letter sequence, creating nicknames based on what something may sound like, may remind me of, or can easily be bastardized into.

So Ships Crews Perform Damage Control gets rearranged into Ships Crews Damage Performance Control.

I was referring to Hans, but as they say, Too much is never enough!

Probably applies to everyone the same.
