Hello! I'm completely new to multiplayer but I'd love to play! I have 300 hours of singleplayer experience as Axis and know all the mechanics of the game, which is something, I guess. Anybody here wants to give me my first crushing defeat? I would prefer to play as Axis and I can promise one round per day. I have a question, though: Isn't playing the Allies a lot easier than playing as Axis? You don't seem to take that into account for your point system, or do you? Or maybe I'm completely mistaken and they're equally hard?
Welcome to ELO.
So far Axis and Allies are pretty balanced Last report from EarlyDoors was: Total Axis 64 Total Allies 67
Updated - ELO started:
Schuki92 (Axis) v Thunderlizard2 (Allies)

Welcome to ELO. I posted a new game with pw=schuki.

Most excellent battle coming here. New rookie with over 300 hours = 8 weeks full-time work playing solitare. Gonna face my old sparring partner. Getting in the ring with the real deal, gonna be tough for the newbie.

@ThunderLizard2 --- Been playing old school, cardboard Face-2-Face, Advanced Squad Leader with couple pals. My anxiety level is less, not worrying about next PBEM turn to be played. Who knows, maybe somebody will cook up another Plandemic, forcing me into the ring :)
Would be cool to have a "record play", and watch an entire game between players without FOW.

Gonna be tough to get me in the Ring, I feel like Connor McGregor's ankle. Would consider my own show in parallels Joe Rogan, Jesse Ventura, & do some Bruce Buffer announcing.
I think the game got "easy" for the Axis in the moment France surrendered in May 1941 after a good breakthrough using 2 paratroopers. Belgium was already taken in January 1940. Then I had plenty of time and MMP to focus in Egypt and Syria, both taken and destroying several UK forces and 2 tanks, while later a strong force of UK and Indians were holding Basora. I managed to join Spain, and took Gibraltar.
In China I suffered big time, great great play from 36ophiuchi and I lost a few japanese units, although I was close to take Chungking and Sian ( I think around mid 1942 ). But my Pacific war would be very weak, 90% of my forces were in Chine or in Manchuria againgst an attack of the Soviet Union.
But Germany was really strong thanks to the early surrender of France, and even with 2 panzers and a few stukas in Iraq, I managed to break the Dnieper line and destroy several Soviet units around Kharkov / Rostov area ( even a HQ and 1 tank ), making a huge hole in Soviet defenses, taking Voronezh and there was no soviet forces in the area to defend Stalingrad or the Caucasus, so Allies surrendered.
I think it was a mistake to declare war to Japan and use Zhukov forces to invade Manchuria, they should be defending the south of the Soviet Union.
Forgot it was necessary to report beginning of game.
Very fast Game DmitryN Allies MattShadowlord Axis. MattShadowlord resigned october 1940. Chinese troops took half Chinese cities including Nanjing killing about 10 Japanese units including 2 HQ. Axis also had no progress in France loosing tanks etc. Doubt they could take Paris during 1941.
Two more games began recently: DmitryN Axis with KlasE Allies And DmitryN Axis with pwurtzburger Allies
Thanks mate ... I hope I am doing well , a bit nervous so far since I am very used to how the AI plays :) Greetings back from the heart of Germany out of the town where Elvis had lived :)

Not sure of your background, but if you're the grandson of some Panzer Generals, I'm sure you got game in Europe. You'll get that ass in France, protect them Tanks of being exposed on counter. The Royal Navy can be cause some pain. Advanced players can get cute with them Ships. Most Allied players gonna plug your ports in Libya. Seeing you're a Bunta, I'm giving you your propers. That's Yankee slang for street cred and respect. Keep your Uboats moving, with a purpose. Playing a human, they will feel your plan.
Be careful in China. You drew the Axis. Rookie Jap(anese) players will expose that North/South rail. Don't be dumb.
Surrender August 1941 --- Forgot to garrison Lennigrad after using T-34 stationed there to free units in Riga. Paratroops landed. Lost Lennigrad. Trapped units HQ + 2 Armies North of Lennigrad. Units in Riga trapped also. Game was just getting going, Reds cannot overcome lost of 7 units.
I give credit to petedalby for his Northern Exposure attack. He went with the Sub/Maritime attack on North Pole + he sent Panzer to grab that import port. He had to send extra troops into Helsinki also. He started Barby in March 1941. Did encirclements on major cities to drain supply.
Note to self: If you use the T-34 in Lennigrad, don't leave it open, dumb.

Schuki92 (Axis) vs arikogut (Allies), Axies victory, March 1943
Ari surrendered after Axies conquered Perm and the allied invasion in France didn't go quite as planed. In my opinion I could win as Axies because France was conquered very early and Allies couldn't inflict enough damage on German forces early in the game. Maybe Ari wants to give his opinion, too. For us both it was our first comnpleted ELO-game, but I had a headstart because I'm playing three very experienced multiplayer gamers right now and they're teaching me a lot and also they're beating my ass. Anyway, we started a second game:
ThunderLizard2 (Axis) versus DrZom (Allies). Axis victory by default in February '41. Quick victory in France set stage for strong Barbarossa. Allies stalled in North and East Africa. DrZom made no move for a month and PBEM timed out.
DmitryN (axis) won Rudolf Steiner (allied) january 1942. Fast advance in Russsia, China is in 2-3 turn from surrendering. Egypt and Abissinia taken etc.
