Spent a week in Vegas in March once. Three different evening shows, three dinners at high end restaurants, two evenings at the piano bar, daytime at the pool or shopping. Very little gambling. The most memorable 'local atmosphere' was being handed a flyer for escort services while walking down the sidewalk with my lady at my side. Shocking at first, until you realize the poor guys giving these flyers out get paid by how many they hand out, and their bosses are watching that they only give one per tourist. Sad, really.

I spent a couple of hours over at the house site yesterday exploring the back of the lot a little more and then mapping out the locations and paths of the water supply line from the well to the house, the gas line, the electric supply, and the line from the septic tank to the drain field. Just like the recommendation to photograph everything in the walls before the drywall goes in, I think having a record of where all these lines run will save me lots of headaches in the future.

There were stacks of drywall and a pallet of drywall "mud" compound in the garage. Looks like it should all be going in this week. No siding for our house yet, but several near us have it on or being installed now. I'm really looking forward to seeing the siding on.

No visible changes to share photos this week.

A blast from the past crossed my mind while updating my BAR (Before Action Report). Have any of you Thread Brothers been around long enough that you know who Lacrimosa is? Chickenboy might remember, as he's been around long enough, but I can't recall if he was active in THE THREAD!!! back then or not.

Good thinking. Just save these where you know to find it when needed. And so others can find it as well if they need it.

Looking forward to see the house complete. And how the backyard will look when you had some time to work on it.

Perhaps a 'work station' outdoors where one could 'work' on the WITP:AE impulses?
