When increasing the difficulty from intermediate to veteran and then to expert, what exactly is increased if the three computer bonuses (spotting, experience, and MPP) are left at zero?

@DrZom - I think there are some AI scripts that grant units at certain times on harder AI difficulties but other than that the difficulty level, I think just sets those 3 parameters.

At Veteran there is a cryptic 50% notation, and at Expert 100%. What do those mean?

Hi DrZom,

Redrum68 is essentially correct and the 50% to 100% etc., is just a quick reference to give you an idea on just how much harder it will feel to play as you adjust through the various difficulty levels.

Of course individual experiences may vary when it comes to this.
