I am not sure Glenn but I once did a PBEM with a 16 year old from Florida. He beat me so bad in one simple battle that I swore I would never play against anyone under 21. Heck, even my grandkids can beat me but they are 6 and 9. My ego can't take another whuppin' so I will stick to us old guys. :D :D I am sure they are out there. I email with former Marine vets who are in their 80's. Bruce Semper Fi

I´m now 17 years, but I have been playing games like SPWaW since when I was about 12-13 years. And I am sure that there might be also players under age of ten in here.

I know a guy from another forum who has played SPWAW and he's 15. I like to see when the younger crowd is interested in these types of games.

:D That's right! You know the old saying: "Age and treachery will beat youth and skill -every time."

My 16 year old plays SPWAW. He cut his teeth on the original Steel Panthers and SP:Modern Battles from SSI, when I originallly bought them.

I'm 15 right now and have been Playing SP:WAW for about 5 months. It's the most addictive game i've ever played. I had a friend stay the night yesterday and we put SP:WAW on my p200.So we could play multiplayer. We stayed up till 6:00 am and went to bed and then woke up at 8:00 am 2 hours later to play some more :) Monkeyjam

My youngest son, aged 7, plays SPWAW both against the AI and on-line with/against me or my other son (10 year old).... But you won't meet them on this forum until they start learning English :) [ July 15, 2001: Message edited by: Antonius ]

Two of my three children love and play WAW. My 14 year old son and (yes) my 12 year old daugther. She is feminine, cute, and likes war movies and wargames. MY GOD, she will make a great wife huh? I just hope not while I am alive though haha.

A buddy's son and I have been doing PBEM battles for about a year and he's 15 now; I'd say he beats me and his dad about half the time too. I had expected reckless, full-speed charges and haphazard defensive arrangements from him but that wasn't the case...embarassed to say but our second battle was a draw

Im 16, been playing SP or similar games since about the age of 10 when I got access to my first computer. Also enjoyed board gaming (Advanced Third Reich, Polish Campaign Battles etc) however its almost impossible to find anywhere to buy 'em now and over the years the pieces have been slowly lost and the map condition deteriorated (coffe stains on Morroco, map riped from Rome to Vienna :D ).

Addenda: should have added that we played Panzerblitz and bought extra counters and maps to simulate an SS Panzer Division vs. USSR Mech Corps.... needed a pool table to play on... Fun memories... now you only need a single computer... Now where'd I put those Beatles' 8-tracks.... Respectfully, Geezer
