It seems that the computer game is vastly behind the board game. Any plans for a major update> I would like to be able to edit the map and scenarios.

Oh, can you edit the map on the board game? Do they give you scissors, cardboard, and colour pens or what?

It took more than a decade to get it here, and there are still serious bugs. And there are a lot of features not implemented, some beacuse they were discarded at the beginning and others were ignored when the process started to dilate in time. Scenarios, multiplayer for more than 2 people, optionals, and several other...

Now they are focused on an AI (¡!), so dont even dream of that for some lustrums, in case they do the AI and then all the pendant features and solve the bugs.

You can edit the game files to update the scenarios.Unfortunately, some aspects appear to be hard coded in the game. See this thread for introduction

what you mean the "Final Edition" of WiF was not the end of the road? all sarcasm aside, I am not sure a stable set of rules, maps and counters is a problem. When I was playing on cardboard, young, and poor the expensive changes were an annoyance. I am quite happy where we are now. That said the latest map's Belgium border is interesting

I learned a new word today. "lustrums"

Now I am searching for a chance to use it.
