Why can't Japan rebuild Pearl's harbors beyond 5s? Maybe not all four, but certainly one or two should be more reparable; perhaps 8s? Perhaps present the player with a Decision Event to expend some MPP?

I'm afraid that it's just not possible with the engine as it currently is, and if it were it would likely make all the ports up to a higher strength as they're all connected.

Bill can you clarify the supply routes that do allow ports to grow

For instance, if the Allies invade and capture a Major Port it will not grow beyond 5 to its maximum size unless....

? it is connected to a secondary supply source ?
? it is connected to a capital ?

it would be really nice if the info tooltip could diagrammatically highlight these supply routes like a pipeline
allowing you to click on a resource and trace its route back via its source to capital

I'd like major ports to provide more naval supply (to model drydocks and such). Of course we can't have it provide additional land supply either... Having small supply level 3 ports might also be worthwhile (since we already have Settlements the equivalent land counterpart).

It would have to be connected to a friendly Industrial Center, Primary Supply Center or the capital of a Major.

OK, so tinker with the engine.

Very low priority IMHO.

It would be nice though to have the ability to upgrade ports. It obviously happened in the war, but in the game all you can do is upgrade AA defense. This seems unrealistic/simplistic to me.

Ports upgrade itself when the supplies are good with citys homeland

is the case of Malaya, Indochina, Thailand and Normandy Ports they upgrade itself until 8 and Malaya are cases to 10; dont Know exactly the rules am not espert in this material but anyway Pearl harbour was never conquering by axis side in history only bombardement but not conquering so they dont have line of supplyes its not a problem of upgrade its a problem of supplyes and Pearl harbour does not have in the game lines of supplyes if conquering
