Taking a break from building the next Baltic Fury scenario and thought I might share the overall load table:

38th Airborne Corps has shifted forward from Carpathian Military District to command the operation. With a Kaliningrad based MRD as the key ingredient, two Airborne Divisions and four Brigades (including the Polish 6th AB Division) and Corps troops - this is a big force. You have enough air lift to move about 1.5 Divisions at a time with a bunch of car ferries, RoRos and freighters augmenting the Baltic Fleet's slightly reduced amphibious force.

This one will probably represent the largest use of the cargo feature to date.

Haven't fleshed out the enemy yet but if you've played BF#4 Ride of the Valkyries, you'll have an idea of what your facing.

No wonder you have to make load tables pre-scenario!

Damn, I can't fathom trying to move a full Corps of troops and equipment in Command (unless all in convoys of course). What a challenge it will be!

Well in truth, it is a small Corps, about 2/3 is by air and and you will need at least 2 lifts with the aircraft available. As far as sea movement, there is one MRD you need to move, you will probably get about 60-70% of that on the ships provided, even less for the corps troops.

So a lot of decisions need to be made. I'll need to play around and test it a lot to get things right. Also need to give you something decent to fight or it will turn into a logistics exercise.

You'll need to capture unloading facilities intact, most of the shipping is civilian and will need unloading docks. Of course the Danes will be trying to blow that up, so timing is an issue...

It should be a bit of a challenge though

Ah, Good point, after all, aren't Soviet Formations smaller than their Western 'Equivalents', like isn't a Soviet Corps more equal to a Western Division? And of course an Airborne formation would be lighter than, say, a Guards Tank Formation.

Generally speaking yes, Soviet formations are smaller, but not that much smaller. This is a good study of a US division

chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rand.org%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Frand%2Fpubs%2Fmonograph_reports%2F2007%2FMR1211.pdf&clen=2332608

So a US heavy Div would be about 20,000 pers while the MRD I have here is ~15,000. That is actually a little large and should be ~13,000 but the Cargo module only gives so many options.

The two Airborne Divs are 8,000 and 7,600 which is the best I can match with this site: http://www.ww2.dk/new/vdv/vdv.htm

Those are small, US light and AB Divs were ~11,000

The various Bdes are small as well, and a couple of them are short Bn+ due to reconstituting after the Bornholm operation

The Polish AB Div is really a collection of about 5 small battalions

I am probably miss-using the Soviet Corps system which was meant to command an OMG (Operational Maneuver Group), or breakout force. The force portrayed is sort of doing that job but the true OMG was an armored formation of a couple Tank and an MR Div - that force would likely have about 60-70,000 troops and 500 tanks, so not too far off.
