<summary>#3025 - AN/AVQ-27 Kit [EO + LRMTS, 12k ft] has no ability to illuminate targets</summary>
<detail>#3025 - AN/AVQ-27 Kit [EO + LRMTS, 12k ft] has not ability to illuminate targets but is stated to be a LRMTS. In Saudi F5E/F5F load outs this means the buddy lasing doesn't work.
When I added a Wing Loon to designate the targets everything was fine, weather height etc are all within parameters. </detail>
<evidence>From DB489 ENTRY - appears F-5F with AVQ-27 cannot buddy lase for the GBU-12 carried by F-5E regardless of circumstances and as other platforms with a generic LRMTS seem to work it appears the issue is with the AVQ-27?
1x AN/AVQ-27 [Laser Designator] 10 nm Laser Target Designator & Ranger (LTD/R) Surface Search, Ground Search (Fixed), Ground Search (Mobile), Range Information 360.
Evidence is that if you try to do it it wont work.
#3790 - F-5E Tiger II with loadout #19091 2 x GBU-12
#3791 - F-5F Tiger II (Saudi Arabia - 1989) with loadout #19090. 1 X AVQ-27
Struggling to attach small enough file.

Replicated.
DB Update required, sensor missing as a listed director for the weapon.
