Neither find the 2nd search in the Italian Coast. (Allies 8, Axis 10)

France then initiates in the East Med.

One SUB was aborted.

France stay for another round. I am assuming that Axis stay as well.

France rolls two again and finds. Italy rolls one again and finds as well.

How will Italy proceed this time around?

And that concludes the Allied naval searches.

Will Italy initiate combat in the Western Mediterranean? If so, with what unit?

Impulse #7 (Allies)

The French fleet finds the Italians, who are surprised. (Axis 8, Allies 3)

Only the 3-box with the Italian CA is included.

The French Admiral see it as his top priority to screen the CW troop transport, and therefore avoids combat.

Lord Gort, having established his new command post on HMS Nelson, located in the English Channel, takes command of the evacuation of Rouen. Concerned with the disorganized status of his anti-tank brigade, he signals to the commander in Rouen, General Raglan, to beware of the artillery North-East of their position, and to prepare for a possible artillery strike.

General Raglan then orders the 8th Corps ,if practical, to check the artillery east of them. The commander of the 8th Corps, General Lucan, in turn orders the Light Tank Brigade of the 8th Corps to "try to prevent the enemy from using their artillery". The Heavy Brigade, and the mobile artillery, may provide support if need be.

General Cardigan, the commander of the Light Brigade, mistakes the artillery refered to as the disorganized artillery to the south-east, and orders an attack on their position. The other elements of the tank divisions follows. When the mistake becomes apparent it is to late to halt the attack of the tank division, and the remainder of the Corps follows to secure their new forward position. The Light Brigade overruns the German artillery, and disorganized fighters. But are then stuck deep into the enemy position...

Picture of the lead elements of the Light Brigade advancing out of Rouen.
