Congratulations. You got this one because I am recovering from an accident. It does not hurt when I stand but when I sit. I fell and cracked my ass a little more!

Good morning everyone. Joe, take it easy. It only takes longer to recover the more we age.

Mike, thanks a lot, buddy! My sig exists once again!

Hope you have a better recovery than I did. I was with my son on a toboggan ice slide with a hump on the run-out - the hump made me tilt back and land on my lumbar vertebra. Cracked it in two and shifted the fractions out of alignment. It took three years for the pain to stop. After that I never joke about people who really do suffer a PITA.

The injury is not skeletal, it is a deep muscle bruise. The tailbone gives me no pain, it is the deep muscle on the right next to it. I feel it when there is pressure on it as in laying on my back or sitting on it. So I just have to pivot slightly and get up more using my left side. I should be better before I get married!

Had a great time spending the afternoon today with our Thread Brother Rustysi! I'm very glad we had time to meet up while you are on your trip, Brother!

Besides seeing some old friends this was the highlight of my trip. So glad we had a chance to meet.

Good vittles and conversation.

Just popped in. Hanging in there had a post-surgery infection that ran me down and ended up in the hospital last Thursday until Sunday in which I raised hell to get out. It worked. I was home in time from kick off to watch the Vikes snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. UGH!

Hope all is well now. Hang in there and keep calm.

So, anyway the first half of my trip to North Carolina went well. The second half went 'sideways'. We wreck our car and that pretty much ended things. The good take away was that no one was hurt.

C'est la vie.

Yikes! Hope the beverages from your conflab with forumites did not have anything to do with it! Really glad no humans were wrecked - have already seen too many reports of forumites having serious accidents (not counting marriages even!)

Just got this picture from the builder's agent. We have siding and I'm really pleased with how things look! Not going to tell Mrs. USSA yet. We are driving over on Saturday and I'll let her be pleasantly surprised then.

Thanks guys. Mike, we're going for that "too cheap to buy a lawn mower" look.

We're actually planning to get a riding mower that should make short work of most of the job. Leaving trees on about 1/3 of the property for now.
