ORIGINAL: ThomasJay Dog the bounty hunter was looking for him at Fort Desoto Beach here in Pinellas county, where allegedly 3 Laundrie guests checked into a campground and 2 left. So I'm thinking most likely #2 on your list. Or as an alternative he wandered off the beach and made it to one of the areas of St Pete with a large unhoused population. Very easy to get lost in there. St. Petersburg/Tampa/Clearwater sounds very reasonable. Large population center, lots of homeless with great weather. If I'm gonna be on the run, I'd even consider Ft. Meyers to Naples, but stay away from the rich people, they have time to spot nomads. Beaches have lots of trash cans and food tossed out. Visitors are there to party. Could even panhandle some coins. If I was on the run, I would not goto a colder climate. What are you going to eat? Would have to break into someone's cottage and increase the odds of capture, big time. On a Florida beach, there's something to do. Plenty of trash cans to pick food out of. Maybe kill a bird or two to fry. In today's mask society, the city is better chance of survival. Obviously, Brian is walking around with a mask. He looks rather average, like any other 23-year old male. Nothing stands out with his appearance. Stupid looking eyes, crusty and unshaven. I'm sure by now, his beard is a grown 3-inches. I would be afraid to go into a homeless shelter or rescue mission, those people are always on the lookout. Florida is heavily patrolled. Bouncing between a couple of beach areas and tent city for awhile is the best bet. Deep down inside, he still feel close to his parents staying in Florida. Once he learns how to "survive", I'd head to Portland, Oregon or San Francisco/Seattle. The entire West Coast is full of Tent Cities, homeless and people that have no clue who he is. Florida law enforcement and citizens really wanna find this dude. All he'd have to do is go to goodwill on 34th street Saint Pete, grab some basketball shorts, ratty t-shirts, black slippers and white socks and a cheap backpack and he'd look like every other young homeless guy here. He's already naturally got the look. Then all he needs to do to be safe is make a cardboard sign to hold up in case anyone is looking too closely. Guaranteed to avert their eyes And yes, he could eat like a king from the trash cans and restaurant trash bins along Gulf Boulevard or downtown St Pete. Plenty of places around here to shelter and sleep.
