27 Aug 42 2 US subs got sniffs of my primary convoy route into Nagasaki. Flying Fish missed an xAK carrying resources and Triton missed an AO carrying oil. My route is not direct and went undiscovered for quite awhile. I-15 hit AO Sepulga with a torpedo near Christmas Island. The AO was carrying fuel and burned. Audio suggest that it sank. An SC did minor damage to the sub. The subchaser has the Mousetrap ASW device, now seen for the first time. I-159 moved into Diego Garcia and paid the price, getting hit with a depth charge. Japanese bombers continue to bomb Kunming and the contested hex to the northwest. Still lots of damaged P-40Es on the ground at Kunming. 3 were destroyed on the ground. Zeros from Lashio swept Dimapur for the first time, finding P-40Es. The Zeros did well, downing 15 Warhawks while losing 7 of their own. Showing interest in the Indian airbases keeps the enemy CAP spread out. We attack in far northern China.
