It might be helpful if you ran DxDiag and posted up the resulting file. You might also want to take a look at the Windows event log. It isn't always helpful, but sometimes you'll find some other issue contributing to your issue. Also, if you haven't already, when you start CMO go to the Games Option menu and turn on 'Log debug information to file', IIRC this creates a file ExceptionLog.txt and places it in the CMO Log folder. That file might contain useful information. HTH
