Just upgraded to 4.2.0 to start a new netplay scenario with a friend. Using the Barbarossa scenario to test I noticed the flyout box isn't working anymore. You know where you hover over a stack and the flyout appears showing all the units in the stack. used to work with version 3.2. what's going on? How do you enable/select flyout box?

It is still working for me.

Any chance that you tried it out over a stack of a single unit? The fly-out does not happen then - just when there are multiple units in a hex.

You should also try it out on a Solitaire game to see if it is just on Netplay. Sometimes there are sync errors caused because of an undo that has been done that does not get undone on the other player file. In that case, you may need to determine which is the most correct file and use that same file for both players when you start up.

Did you double click on a land hex? It works OK for me...

Yes the functionality changes by double-clicking on an empty land hex versus an empty sea dot.

It does not seem to work. Tried with the Units in hex panel on but makes no difference. Also tried with different zoom levels, still the same.

Now the flyout boxes finally show. Not sure why they did not show earlier. I clicked on the toggle show weather and after that the flyout came up after double clicking on an empty hex.
Maybe something to do with the hotfixes? Installed the game last week and was not aware of the updates and hot fixes.

Near to the weather toggle is the unit toggle. Maybe you toggled units off unintentionally?

Na, this was not selected when the flyout boxed started to show. Only the weather toggle. The flyout box also show when the units are toggled off.

Exactly, this is what I suggested. And it would explain and match the description of beamslam in posts #5 and #7 at 100%.

Thanks for the replies. Yes its working fine now, I'm looking with suspicion on my new mouse, might have brought it too cheap, it seem it needs two very quick double clicks to work, my reflexes shouldn't have dropped that much hopefully.
Anyway, I'm enjoying the game very much. Have been playing a bit before on vassal because of space limits. But its a much more convenient play with this version. The bookkeeping is something I don't miss, and I like the one size map

There is a Windows setting for how fast the mouse moves (and responds to double clicks?).
