Why Thailand has no shipyard points in the production menu?

I can of course buy some shipyards at the beginning of the game. But, was there no shipyards at all in Bangkok in 1941?
1 or 2 shipyards in Thailand could allow them to buy supply oilers, escorts or patrol groups for example.

Anybody has some data about Bangkok's shipyards in 1941?

They didn't have the facilities to make ships.

Some data in the link below. It was a port for exporting rice and rubber, not a military shipyard as AS commented.

However there is no food (rice) production in the game in Thailand, not even in the river valleys of the Mekong and Irrawaddy, there should be I guess.

Thanks a lot for the source. Very nice information inside:

I have bought 5 shipyards in Bangkok. Japan was sending 7 resources per turn to Thailand as well. Once the first 5 were built, I used the 10 logistics Thailand has to build Escorts. While waiting for the Shipyards to build, and after the 5 escorts were built, I would just buy supply trucks & AA. I thought about disbanding the Thai Army Corps and using the 20 other logistics to build Supply Oilers as well or even wait for 5 shipyards to line up and just build A landing Craft every 90 days along with the escorts & Supply Oilers. Supply Oilers can come in so very handy. The 5 Shipyards I did build did work out well in buying 10 escorts for the Merch Marine. Thailand Starts off with 180 people and gains 6 a turn so landing craft are not a problem. I do think that the population VS. Logistics is out of wack though. 6 pop a turn....? How do you even use that. Too bad they can not be transferred to Japan.
