Is the engine able to process VP to exit map ? This seems to be missing from the smaller scenarios.

Skyline drive. If 2nd panzer takes Clervaux (Clervaux not Clervoux btw) and repair the bridge, what they should do is go west as fast as they can to go to Bastogne. But there is no VP to exit map here, so the best they can do is taking Esselborn and Lullange, then go south or south east to assist 26 VG and Panzer Lehr. Not really making sense.

Same thing with Stavelot. Peiper was supposed to go west/north west as fast as he could. Here, he has no incentive to do that as there is no exit map VP. And most big VP locations are on the historical road, in the Stoumont - La Gleize area. But why would Peiper go there if he can capture the bridge in Trois Ponts and go straight on the main road to Werbomont ? VP's are used to railroad history instead of teaching the player what the historical commanders had to do.

Using the 'Simple Map Editor' you can assign any hex a 'VP' value.
Make a backup of 'Skyline_Drive', for example, & before hitting 'Start' click on the 'Simple Editor' tab & edit away.
Not sure if this will address what you want, but it might.

Yes it's possible to change VP location which may improve things, but I don't see the possibility for a side to get VP to exit map somewhere.

I suspect that would be a 'hard coded' thing.
Assigning a hex/hexes that is/are at the edge of the western part of the map some 'VPs' could suffice for the time being.

Perhaps arriving at that 'exit' location could trigger the availability of a strategic card, which could be played to remove the units on that hex, and give VPs
