I have a question about my progress. I'm playing Axis and it's December '42. I've conquered Leningrad and just reached Moscow and Stalingrad. In Africa I just conquered Palistine. USA landed in Algeria. How good/bad am I doing? It's my first playthrough that I reached as far so I'm thinking if it's worth pushing that or should I restart and try with the experience that I gained.

I would keep going. I only play the '39 scenario. I have found as Axis you will not win on every front - it's a give and take. You will have to allocate units to defensive or offensive etc. Learn the map and see what spots are best for defence such as rivers etc. If you are winning on air power you can get air dominance in one theater but probably not all. You will learn as you do PBEM how to adjust, where to have artillery for support or defense etc.

The ability to adjust to wins and losses is important for the longer scenarios
