This was taken just after things eased up in 1945.

My Mum was a warrant officer (= sergeant) in a HAA (Heavy Anti-Aircraft battery) in Belgium.
She's the one on the right.

By 1944 they were firing the guns in HAA(Mixed) batteries - (Mixed means they were crewed by men and women).
